What is your approximate delivery time?

Currently, we are shipping out orders within 2-4 weeks. Delivery is based on inventory we have on hand. If it's in stock, we will ship the next day.

How accurate is the temperature reading?

Our system is extremely accurate - to approx. ± 0.5 °F. We use Heimann Sensor technology from Germany, a global leader in thermal imaging technology.

Is it difficult to setup?

The Thermal Guard is plug and play. There is no software configuration necessary. Once the device is plugged in the system takes approximately 30 seconds to load and ready for its first scan. Watch video demos here.

Is there a warranty?

The Virtual Guard comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Additional warranty is available for purchase. 

How big is the unit? 

Unit dimensions are 11.6" x 5.2" x 1"
An 8" LCD Crystal high-resolution display. Users can see their image and any alert notifications on the screen instantly.

How does it scan for body temperature and display results?

The unit has an accurate infrared thermal sensor that can detect body temperature at an accuracy of +/-0.5°F. The screen will display the actual temperature as well as a green for a pass or red if the temperature is above the set threshold.

What are the alerting options?

The Front Line Virtual Guard system alerts the user with Alarm options that include a strobe light, siren and a popup on a local PC workstation.

How does the unit mount?

The unit comes with a wall mount, but we also have various stand options. Perfect for airports, grocery stores, factories, warehouses, shopping malls, restaurants, schools, government, offices and any place with people coming in and out.

What is the back-end management software you use?

The unit is managed over the LAN remotely by a Central Management Server (CMS) Application installed on a PC. The CMS has powerful capabilities including, time-stamping employees, managing multiple devices, registering users and provisioning each device with specific organizational and user information. Security and temperature alerts from the devices can be displayed on the event management console for security personnel to take action.

Where is the data stored?

The data is stored on a local computer that is connected to the same network. For security reasons, we suggest to our clients to keep all data internal.

Can we log in remotely to retrieve data?

At this time, for security reasons, it's only accessed through a local on-site server.
